Statement by MA Together We Can which has organized this meeting:
We are prepared to work together as a team to preserve our democracy. And as we proved when the House GOP tried to eliminate the Office of Congressional Ethics, when we work together, we can win!
Please join Massachusetts Together We Can for our next meeting NEXT THURSDAY. We will be discussing our work to make Newton a Welcoming City, our next steps as a grassroots organization, and the Indivisible Guide (https://www.indivisibleguide.
Newton's two State Representatives, Ruth Balser and Kay Khan, will join us to talk about the importance of activism. We’ll also be hearing from former Massachusetts Secretary of Public Safety and Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral about grassroots organizing and winning local elections. We’ll look to the Indivisible Guide as a blueprint for promoting a Democratic agenda.
DATE: Thursday, January 26th
LOCATION: Newton Senior Center, 345 Walnut Street, Newtonville
Please RSVP to Martina Jackson at firstname.lastname@example.org if you will be able to join us. And feel free to spread the word!
