Audrey Cooper is being given a wonderful award by the City of Newton Parks and Recreation Dept: The Russell J. Halloran Lifetime Achievement Award honors an adult Newton resident for a lifetime of outstanding contributions towards enhancing the quality of life in Newton.
This year's winner is Audrey Cooper. Russell J. Halloran enjoyed a long and distinguished career as Newton's Commissioner of Parks and Recreation. His concern for others and his loyalty to the finest ideals of public service are reflected in his lifetime contributions to enhancing the quality of life in the City of Newton. He will be present the night of the award ceremony.
