Many activists are coming into the Party and looking for ways to be involved. One way is to participate either as a delegate or guest attendee in the annual Democratic State Party Convention. This year's convention will be held in Worcester, Massachusetts at the DCU Center. Official business starts at 10:00 am but there are activities throughout the day and during the evening of the night before. Here is a quick summary:
- The Friday before - there are usually parties and happy hours organized by activist organizations and elected leaders. Many are free and open to all.
- On the day of - at the Convention this year delegates will consider and vote on an updated Democratic Party platform. In addition, elected leaders and aspiring candidates for statewide office in Massachusetts will speak to delegates.
