Please join us on the steps of Newton City Hall to hold a candle and share a moment of silence at 4:00 pm sharp this coming Friday, July 12th.
Congressman Joe Kennedy III, who has visited several detention centers, will speak at 4PM, followed by Newton Mayor Ruthanne Fuller. Please invite your friends, and together we will help light up the world and social media #lights4liberty#dontlookaway to demand an end to these detention camps.
In addition to this Newton gathering, you can also consider attending the Boston Lights for Liberty vigil (details here) on the steps of the Massachusetts State House at 7:00 pm on Friday.
