Our Revolution: Organize to Win 2020 - Sunday, January 19th - 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 - p.m., Utility Workers Local 369 Union Hall, Braintree
We have an exciting opportunity on January 19th to energize and mobilize ORMA members across the state, and we are encouraging all members of Our Revolution Newton to participate.
ORMA is working closely with Our Revolution National to gather the membership at the Organize To Win 2020 Summit in Braintree on the 19th. OR National is organizing these summits across the country because 2020 is a unique opportunity to win the primaries for our endorsed candidate Bernie Sanders, and build ORMA to mobilize people in Massachusetts to take power back from the 1% at all levels, national, state, and local.
Meet like-minded people from across the state, find out how to get involved in supporting the Sanders campaign, and build ORMA for the future. Staff from OR National will be on hand, and breakout sessions will be led by MA4Bernie 2020, Act On Mass, and The Incorruptibles. Elected officials State Sen. Jamie Eldridge, Cambridge City Councilor Jivan Sobrinho-Wheeler, and Somerville City Councilor Will Mbah will also be present to discuss winning at the state and local level.
Perhaps the most exciting opportunity from an organizing perspective is that we will be calling the 30,000 OR members in MA to invite them to the summit. This will wake the “sleeping giant” in Massachusetts, turning our “click-tivists” into activists in the Bernie campaign and local and state campaigns.

Summit Specifics:
Sunday January 19th, 11 am - 4 pm (light lunch will be provided)
Utility Workers Local 369 hall, 120 Bay State Dr., Braintree
Cost: $0 (we will ask for donations at the door to defray meal expenses)
